Kathy Sechrist: Success Is The Best Revenge

Kathy, an Award-Winning Author, having been recognized with four awards for her debut novel, Success Is The Best Revenge is a newish member of Soroptimist International of Cascadia Online, but not to Soroptimist.

She has had a long and varied selection of careers that took her to Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand, London and several states before retiring and moving back to her beloved Whidbey Island, WA. With all those experiences behind her, she was ready to begin a new career in her passion for writing. Her debut novel, Success Is The Best Revenge, is an almost fictionalized account of her time in London and the people she met there.

“I believe I could not have written my story without the support of my Soroptimist friends and the awareness I received from belonging to Soroptimist,” Kathy avows.

Kathy was an active member of SI of Coupeville for many years, during which time she served as Club President and all the offices prior to that, District Secretary and District 1 Director. She now lives in Bulverde, TX with her hubby Bob and her cat Toby, where she enjoys being close to her grandchildren. She is currently writing the sequel to her second novel, North of Normal.
